On Palm Sunday, joyfully follow Jesus with triumph into Jerusalem. On Maundy Thursday, sit at the table with him. Let him wash your feet. Receive from his hand the bread and the wine. Watch and pray with him in the garden. On Good Friday, stand on the stone pavement and watch his trial. Follow him to the whipping post. See him scourged. Hear the crowd shout, "Crucify him! Crucify him!" Follow him to The Place of the Skull. Stand at the foot of the cross. Watch as he dies in agony for our sins. On Easter Day, find that the tomb is empty. Smell the fragrance of lilies and know that all is well, because Jesus has conquered death, hell, and the grave. And because you believe in him, you are a conqueror, too.
